THE
COURSE
The golf course
was designed as two loops of 9 holes each, starting and finishing outside
the Clubhouse. Skillful use of the 130 acres of rolling Buchan farmland
resulted in a challenging course of 6276 yds in length. Even in the short
history of the course the par three holes have gained the reputation of
being on an equal with any in the North of Scotland.
On the top
holes of the course the panoramic view has to be seen to be appreciated.
It stretches from Peterhead in the north to south of Aberdeen bay and
with views of the city. The greens have been designed to the U.S.P.G.A.
standards and even on the wettest of days are still playable.
Should there
be adverse weather why not visit our Driving Range where you will be able
to play on our 9 manufactured greens. These were made so that golfers
had the feeling that they were playing on a golf course and not to the
usual yardage markers that most driving ranges have. Our Driving Range
also has a training facility with the latest technology in teaching aids.
Driving Range
Bay and Tee advertising is also available.
Visitors are
welcome to play the course 7 days a week, with the option of hiring Golf
Clubs, Golf Carts, Battery Powered Trollies or good old fashioned Pull
Trollies available ~ please pre book.
